You can make your appointment, one month in advance. You can choose from 6 time slots that start from 10 a.m. and end at 3 p.m. Six tokens are issued for every slot and a reference number will be assigned to you if the appointment is booked. You need to carry a printout of the appointment confirmation when you go to the Sub-Registrar on the day of registration. 

Witness presentation

The registration process calls for two witnesses to be present on both seller’s and buyer’s sides. Their ID proofs have to be submitted as well.
